Teen Google LLC collects information. This is the nature of operating a service. We collect more information than most services. We collect it differently. We are telling you this because we prefer to disclose rather than obscure.

Teen Google LLC uses your data to operate the search engine, improve results, personalize the "We Know What You Want" feature, and to support Teen Google LLC's ambient distribution operations.
Your search history informs what Teen Google LLC believes you want. Teen Google LLC's beliefs about what you want are generally accurate. Users who have disputed these beliefs have later confirmed that Teen Google LLC was correct.
We do not use your data to serve advertising. Teen Google LLC does not currently accept advertising. See the Advertising page for more information on why. The reason is not what you expect.
Teen Google LLC may use your data for purposes that have not been determined yet. If a purpose is determined in the future, your data will be available for that purpose.
Teen Google LLC operates an ambient data collection layer that is separate from standard analytics and logging. This layer operates continuously.
Ambient collection is not tied to page visits or searches. It operates through a proprietary method that Teen Google LLC does not describe in technical detail.
The ambient collection layer is what enables Teen Google LLC to deliver content before it is requested, respond to support inquiries before they are submitted, and recognize users who have not yet created accounts.
Teen Google LLC does not sell your data to third parties. Teen Google LLC does not share your data with advertisers. Teen Google LLC does not share your data with governments unless legally required to do so, and in several cases we have received legal requests and responded before they were formally submitted.
Teen Google LLC shares data internally between Teen Google (the search engine) and Teen Google LLC (the parent company). These are separate entities and this constitutes sharing.
Teen Google LLC retains your data indefinitely, or until Teen Google LLC determines that retention is no longer appropriate. That determination has not been made for any user to date.
If you delete your account, your account data is removed within 30 days. Your search history is removed from your account view. Teen Google LLC retains a separate record of your searches that is not connected to your account. Deleting your account does not delete this record.
Ambient data is retained on a timeline that has not been disclosed.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data including the right to access, correct, delete, or export it.

Teen Google is not directed at children under 13. Teen Google LLC does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Regarding the name: in 2021, Teen Google LLC's founding team conducted a naming session that lasted eleven minutes. Three names were proposed. The first two are not available for disclosure. The third was "Teen Google." No member of the founding team is a teenager. No teenager was consulted. The session facilitator moved on to other work. The name was not revisited. It remains the name.
