About the Death Clock
A Teen Google LLC feature overview. Published by Teen Google LLC. For informational purposes.
What it is

The Death Clock is a feature available to select Teen Google LLC account holders. It displays a real-time countdown on the Teen Google homepage representing Teen Google LLC's current estimate of the time remaining in the account holder's life.

The estimate is derived from actuarial models, ambient data collected during your use of Teen Google products, and statistical analysis conducted by Teen Google LLC. The figure updates continuously. It is expressed in days, hours, minutes, and seconds.

Teen Google LLC considers this to be useful information. The decision to surface it was made internally. User feedback was not solicited prior to launch.

Current methodology. Teen Google LLC estimates life expectancy using a standard actuarial baseline adjusted for ambient usage signals collected during your sessions. The baseline is derived from publicly available mortality data. The adjustment factor is proprietary. Teen Google LLC does not share adjustment factor details at this time.
Why your account was selected

Teen Google LLC selects accounts for the Death Clock feature based on criteria that are not fully disclosed. Selection does not imply anything about the account holder's health, risk profile, or expected lifespan relative to other users.

If your account was selected, Teen Google LLC has determined that displaying this information is appropriate for you specifically. This determination was made automatically.
